About Me

Lauren Keller Welshans

I am a hardworking problem-solver
and I love design.

I enjoy working in teams or solo and welcome new challenges. I am dependable and will offer my honest opinions. Every detail of the design process is important to me and I believe the best design solution is usually the simplest option.

I currently work at Stratus Interactive in West Chester, PA designing for web, print, packaging, and more. I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in graphic design.

During my four years at RIT, I became highly involved and passionate about several organizations. As Vice President of RIT's student group of AIGA, I helped to plan design-related events and foster a sense of community within the graphic design program.

I enjoy the outdoors and hiking and deeply care about the environment. I was Advertising Coordinator and Secretary for the Student Environmental Action League (the environmental club). I also love music and play flute in the West Chester Community Band.

I have enjoyed crafts for as long as I can remember and now like to make jewelry and other small gifts for family and friends. Since graduating, I have started selling my work through friends, shows, and online. You can find some of these pieces in my fine art & crafts section or in my Etsy shop.

Thank you for visiting my site and please feel free to contact me with any feedback or of course if you want to offer me a job or some freelance work (hint hint).
